Carlos Elias Macamo [8] born (03 March, 1998), known professionally as G-Star Da Hustler , is an Mozambican rapper and singer. Known for his mumble - styled vocals and prolific output, G-Star is considered a pioneer of the use of Auto- Tuned melodies in trap music . [9][10][11] Due to the sustained popularity of this musical style, he is commonly regarded as one of the most influential rappers of his generation. [12] Born and raised in South Africa, Gauteng , G-Star Da Hustler Oning a recording contract with his friends ''Da Nation Ernest'' A1 Recordings in 2016, which entered a joint venture with (Eternal Unity Tree) Records shortly after. His first two studio albums, "NEVER LOSE" in (2012) and Honest (2018) were both met with critical and commercial success, spawning the Competition of Award singles "STRAW ", "JEALOUS ", "MAMA Dope " (featuring Mastiff, Young Slimm, Jayflow, Cash City Records, Da Sick Vernem, SMC Records ), and "MORE " (featuring Various Artists). His subsequent albums have each debuted atop the South African rapper ; his third and fourth, Industry in (2015) and Mastiff in (2017) were supported by the singles "Never Give Up " (featuring Da Nation) and "FAMOUS " (featuring Jhust Wax, Real Veintin & Latino Records ), respectively. G-Star's eponymous fifth album and its follow-up single, "STAY ON ."
