"Deep Impact '24" is a reimagining of the iconic Deep Impact theme from Dead or Alive 3. I drew inspiration from Kendrick Lamar’s GNX production style to create a track that respects the emotional weight and intensity of the original while giving it a fresh, contemporary twist.
My goal was to retain the feeling of picking a character in the original game—evoking anticipation, energy, and nostalgia—while introducing modern electronic and trap elements for today’s audience.
